Ability to search/filter within list of users

Currently we have 6000-odd users in the Systems -- Users list. Some of these we're going to purge but ultimately, we have lots of users! And sometimes we need to troubleshoot and figure out what roles and permissions a given user has. At the moment, to find a user and see their permissions we have to guess which page their username might be on and scroll through to find them, or try an earlier or later page if that doesn't work, rinse and repeat - it's very clunky.

It would help a lot if we could:

  • search for a known username
  • and/or search for a known email address;
  • and/or filter by role
  • and/or filter for users created / last signed in before or after a given date
