Please note: This update will be applied at the end of business hours on August 25h for the North American, Canadian, and European clouds and the end of business hours on August 26th for the Asia-Pacific and Australian clouds.
- Added the ability for users who are joining a webcast late to watch the recorded portion of the webcast at 2x speed in the interactive viewer so they have the ability to catch up to the live webcast.
- Added the ability to pause or unpause a remote recording from the remote recorder preview panel.
- Moved the email notifications settings from the Info tab to the new Notifications tab in User Settings.
- Made a change in behavior to Canvas Course Copy Beta. By default, Canvas Course Copy Beta will no longer automatically copy content that is outside of a course folder. This was only associated with the course through a previous permissions-based course copy. To disable this behavior, please contact Panopto Support.
- Fixed a recent regression where a folder's viewing stats were double-counted for videos in subfolders.
- Fixed an issue in the User Settings Access tab, where videos that the user could see, because they had access to a folder, were not listed.
- Fixed an issue with Zoom meeting imports where discussion comments sometimes appeared to be in the future.
- Fixed an issue with searching the Everything and Home pages where no option to display archived videos appeared.
- Fixed an issue with search results where the "Delete forever" button was not shown, even to Admin users.
- Fixed an issue where RTMP broadcasts could create an unprocessable and unviewable extra stream.
- Fixed an issue where some Zoom meeting imports that had been imported before the host's Panopto user account was created were not correctly placed in the user's default meeting folder.
- Fixed an issue where, under specific conditions, the Zoom diagnostics window (for Admins) did not show the processing history for some recordings.
- Fixed an issue that could cause bulk provisioning operations for a Blackboard Ultra Identity Provider to also provision Blackboard Classic courses.
- Fixed an issue with Canvas folder provisioning where filtering to specific terms while copying the course structure from Canvas incorrectly created folders for terms that should be filtered out.
- Fixed a rare issue where LMS courses, accounts, or terms may have the same identifier from the LMS when provisioning or re-provisioning Canvas or D2L Identity Providers that have "Copy course structure from LMS" enabled. This was causing the folder structure to be incorrect in some cases.
- Fixed an issue where cookieless authentication for viewing embedded content could result in an error when adding non-LTI videos in certain LMSs.
- Fixed an issue where cookieless authentication may not correctly log in unified users.
- Fixed an issue where the folders/{id}/children public REST API endpoint was not returning department folders properly in all cases, even when they were direct children of the selected folder.
- Modified the expiration times for OAuth2 refresh tokens. Each refresh token still expires in 30 days, but as long as it is refreshed within that time frame, new refresh tokens can be generated for up to 1 year from the original user login.
- Modified the public Upload API to allow cross-origin requests through a browser, as long as the origin has been added to the "Allowed API Origins" site setting.
- Added a warning when creating or modifying a SAML Identity Provider if the public key field is empty.
- Fixed an issue where recordings with multiple low-quality secondary streams could fail to process.
- Added a new site setting "Features - Viewer - Enable Notes" to allow customers to disable the Notes tab within the viewers. By default, the Notes feature is enabled.
- Fixed an issue with the embed player where some multi-stream videos would fail to play in the latest version of Chrome.
- Fixed an issue with discussion notification emails where the count of new replies could be incorrect if replies occurred on more than five different comment threads.
- Fixed an issue in the interactive viewer where seeking a future timestamp using slide thumbnails could prevent completing a blocking quiz.
