Add Number of Views to Video Listing View

Requesting the number of views be provided next to the rating for a video in the list view.

This would provide relevance to the video rating, making it easier for users browsing the video lists to find the more highly rated and highly viewed videos.

  • I would give this an up vote if and only if the creator can opt-in/out of this feature. For lecture content, this information (along with the rating IMO) is not appropriate to display. It is great information for the content creator to see, but I don't think it should be shown on lecture materials.

I certainly agree that in some cases this is a useful metric to see as a viewer when discovering content, but how we typically use panopto, this isn't really something that should be displayed.

  • Same. We have ratings disabled.
