Currently we are recording Google meet discussions using Panopto recorder from outside the meeting. It would be very helpful if the record meeting option in Google Meets can be used to record the meeting and store the video in Panopto.
The problem faced with recording outside the Google Meeting is that sometimes organizers forget / miss to start recording. Second problem with this current approach is that the audience are not aware of the recording. This may pose a legal threat to organizations interacting with members outside our own organization.
