Move/Copy recordings outside Panopto

Hello,

I would like to know how can I have access to Panopto recordings (in the archive or not) so I can copy/move them to another place (My computer, another cloud etc.), but without doing it manually?

Is there a way to access recordings thru your API’s?

There is a way to access recordings through the SOAP API at the ISessionManagement.GetVideoDownloadURL and the documentation is here:

Thank you Kevin. We tried it and we are getting the error message: "unauthorized_client". What can be the problem?

Hi Yossi,

The error message above makes me think that potentially something about how you are authenticating with the SOAP API may not be setup correctly. We have a blog post with examples of how to set this up that I have linked below, does this setup look similar to how your authentication works?

We created an API, type Server Application. We try to reach the service https://$servername/Panopto/oauth2/connect/token and we got the TOKEN. Now we are not getting any object from the TOKEN, no session, no folder, nothing.

Is there any permission in the Server Application that we are missing? What can be the problem?

How can we retrieve the data?
