Notification of issue affecting LTI embeds in Blackboard Ultra

Hello - We want to let you know about an issue in Blackboard Ultra that affects video playback.


What is the issue?

Some LTI-embedded videos in Blackboard Ultra will display the course folder instead of the video player.


Which versions of Panopto are affected?

Panopto Cloud


How do I tell if this affects me?

Only content that was embedded prior to June 2020 is affected. Affected content will display the course folder in place of where the video is expected.


How do I mitigate the issue?

Remove affected videos from their Blackboard Ultra courses and embed them again.


When will this be resolved?

We tentatively plan to resolve the issue for all affected content by February 24th, 2023.

    This issue has been resolved in all Panopto Cloud environments.

    This issue has been resolved in the NA, CA, and EU clouds. We plan to resolve the issue in the AP and AU clouds next week.
