Alternative to Obsolete AllowSessionDownload Method

One of the system admins in my org is trying to find a way to use the API to push folder settings to allow downloads. This "ISessionManagement.UpdateFolderAllowSessionDownload Method" looks like it's now obsolete: https://support.panopto.com/resource/APIDocumentation/Help/html/0a1c013d-d572-17a5-888d-904b7271fc84.htm
Are there any alternatives that can be used to achieve the same outcome?

Hi Addy,
Unfortunately, we do not have any other API endpoints on either our SOAP or REST API to modify the folder settings to allow downloads.
