Filenames within the same folder - discourage duplicate filenames
We've had complaints in past that filenames should be "unique" and now allowed to duplicate one another. No amount of explaining "why" this is allowed (from a computer science/object database perspective) has solved the complaint. Users expect Panopto to work more like file sharing services (Box.com being an example), where filename uniqueness is enforced (in spite of the Session ID being unique). Could there be some kind of built-in checking to enforce Unique filename attributes in Panopto? PARTICULARLY when files are in the same level of a folder?
