From 2020-05-22 06:33 UTC to 2020-05-26 13:25 UTC, Panopto videos embedded in pages served over HTTP didn't play correctly.
What was the impact of this issue?
All viewers received a “Blocked by Content Security Policy” error when attempting to view Panopto content that was embedded into an insecure webpage.
What was the root cause?
In the release on 2020-05-22, a change was made to our content security policy that incorrectly blocked Panopto content in pages served over HTTP. This block has been removed, and embedded content should now be available in pages served over HTTP. From a security perspective, Panopto recommends using the secure HTTPS protocol.
