Turn off Pop-up Notifications Reminder

I believe that when Panopto records the mac built in display, it is also recording notifications that pop up. Those are easy to temporarily turn off (Do No Disturb in the Notification menu) but it would be fantastic if Panopto checked if notifications were on or off before recording and issued a reminder to the user that they might want to turn them off.
