C464 panopto question

quel operaquel opera Tyro
edited November 2020 in Use Cases

I recorded my presentation, and then added my visual aid through panopto. Is this appropriate? I'm concerned since that seems to be two separate feeds, one is me delivering the presentation, and the other the slide, which I refer to during. https://routerlogin.uno/

The easiest thing to do is to record your delivery of the presentation and the visual presentation at the same time. You can find out more about how to do that in our articles about recording video, but yes, if you've already recorded the delivery of your presentation, you can still add in your slides later.

You can upload a Powerpoint presentation in the editor after you record your audio/video, but you will have to manually position each slide so that it appears in the correct place. Please use these instructions. The slides will appear in a separate frame within the player, but they will both show at the same time - just like is pictured in this article:

If you have already recorded your slides/visual presentation as an entirely separate video (not added them in the editor to your original recording), you can still combine the two videos in Panopto by using the Merge function. Instructions for that are in this article.
