Enable learner-controlled slide navigation
I’d like to request an enhancement to the way slides are presented within Panopto videos. Currently, when slides are added to a presentation, they are displayed for a fixed duration before automatically advancing. This approach assumes a standard reading speed, which can be problematic for learners with diverse needs and learning styles.
Proposed Feature:
- Learner-Controlled Slide Navigation: Allow viewers to manually click through slides at their own pace, rather than relying on a preset display time.
This would support learners who require more time to read and process information, including those with cognitive or visual processing differences, non-native speakers, and others who benefit from self-paced learning. It would significantly improve the accessibility and inclusivity of Panopto presentations, aligning with universal design principles and best practices in digital learning.

This is a really good idea. I believe in MS Teams there is a way to view a slide deck like this: a presenter can be on a certain slide, and a participant can click through slides as well at their own pace.
