Permission aware Search
It would be great if I could search for content and filter it based on the permissions of a particular group or user.
This way I could make sure that I only send content that a user has the ability to see without having to check the permissions and groups of each video.

Hey Anthony!
Could you go into a bit more detail about how you'd use this feature?
Creators and Admins can use the User Groups page (located by clicking on System at the bottom right) to see all groups and determine which folders certain users have access to. Alternatively, when choosing to share a video with someone and you have Creator access to it, you can just add the user via the Share menu.
In general, if you're attempting to share a video that you do not have Creator access to, and the user cannot view it, that's intended.
Users can sometimes have different levels of access and are searching for content that they can send to other users. Say we have a first user Alice — she has lots of access to many different folders of content and she wants to send relevant information to Bob. She does a search and sees 5 videos all of which are potentially relevant. Lets say some are restricted and Bob does not have access to all of them.
Right now there's no easy way for her to determine which of these videos Bob has access to view. She can either
1. Send Bob links to all of the videos and he can either view them or hit a permissions error (This is what currently we see most)
2. Check each video to see if its available to a limited set of groups or all internal. If its specific groups then click on each user group, click on membership, and then
CTRL+Fto find the name of the person in the membership group.3. Create a Playlist that Bob has viewer access to and then use the playlist Access Synchronization to see if videos in the playlist do not have the right permissions.
Right now (1) is the most common workflow which results in friction when Bob runs into permission issues. Alice copies all of the links and sends them to Bob. Bob however only has permission to see 2 of the 5 videos. So when he clicks on them it shows a permission error and then he must request permission.
Alice just wants to be able to search as if she is Bob so that she'll only get results that he can also see this way she can see what content is available to them both and provide just those links or pre-emptively get the appropriate permission for videos.
Essentially right now — if you have more expansive permissions than the person you want to share content to its very cumbersome to discover without lots of clicking and searching or trial and error.
That's incredibly helpful — thank you, Anthony! I've included all of this in the associated feature request.
This definitely sounds like an annoying pain point with no solid workaround.
