Fonts are not being properly realised in a recording
in General Q&A
Hi. I am dealing with a query about fonts not appearing. The original font in the PowerPoint slide is Aptos. However, in the recording, the font is changed to an italic font which is affecting readability. Does anyone have an explanation for this? I would have thought that Aptos is supported by Panopto. How could the fonts suddenly switch between Aptos and an Italic font during recording?

Hey there!
Panopto cannot read any custom fonts. If you're using anything other than the default fonts (like Aptos), Panopto will attempt to convert the font into a similar font. As a workaround, you can have Panopto read each slide as an image, rather than a PowerPoint slide. This is an option you can find within the advanced settings of your Panopto software.
