Panopto remote recorders API to change recording templates

We use the Panopto remote recorders API to import data from our room scheduling system into Panopto. This bulk scheduling method saves us 80% of the time spent on planning. Starting next academic year, we will be offering a new version of WDFY lecture capture, namely content (slides) and audio only. Currently there are no Panopto API commands that would allow us to change a remote recorder's template. Could this be made possible?

This is a great idea, and I really appreciate you sharing your workflow and how this would be a huge time-saver with your upcoming changes to your lecture capture.
We already have a very similar feature request here: Remote recorder API.
Do you agree that the suggestion to allow changing the remote recorder's template via API aligns with your request? If so, I can merge these! That way, our team can get a clearer picture of everyone's interest in this feature.
