Updated the default version for Panopto for Windows and the Remote Recorder to version 12.0.5.
Updated ASR from .NET legacy to .NET Core to support ASR re-queuing enabling videos to be recaptioned.
Fixed an issue that could cause ASR to fail to process for specific languages.
Fixed an issue that could cause RTMP webcasts to fail for customers using web servers with a load balancer configured for languages not in English.
Fixed an issue with Remote Recorders that could cause Live Audio Monitoring to fail to start when admins attempt to preview Remote Recorder audio from the VCMS.
Improved a logspam issue on the webserver related to the upload system by allowing uploads to resolve even after a session has been deleted.

Get user or group by Id?

Trying to generate a list of permissions on certain folders programmatically and only getting internal Id references for users and groups.

The folder search accepts a wildcard * and will spit out a list of everything, however the user and group search endpoints don't accept a wildcard and so I can't get a reference list.

Is there really no way to get the name of a user or group from Id?

Hello Forum (in particular Panopto Developers),

I raised a call with the support desk asking if the following is available through the REST APIs, and if so, which API to use. They suggested I raise it here for the Panopto development team to review and respond.

The data I need access to is:

Session ID by remote recorder

Session ID for sessions with captions

Session ID where quiz tool is used

Session ID where discussions are used

Improved accessibility when using Create > ‘Build a Session’ to ensure screen readers are aware of which elements change in the editor when streams are uploaded.
Fixed an issue that could cause ASR transcriptions to fail when auto detect language is enabled.
Fixed an issue with our MS Teams SSO Integration that could cause personal folders to be created for users when the ‘Personal folders for users’ IDP setting is set to ‘Nobody.’
Fixed an issue in System > Identity Providers where IDP role mappings could fail if they are uppercase.
Fixed an issue when users are searching the VCMS that could cause search to fail with an "Error loading results. Try again" message if the search phrase was changed before results had loaded from the first search.
Fixed an issue that could cause long webcast sessions to fail on-demand processing after the live webcast concludes.
Fixed an issue in the Panopto Viewer where selecting a different caption language to display could fail to switch to the selected language.

Access AI

Fixed an issue that could cause Access AI to fail to process if the content language was set to Español (España) [Spanish].
Fixed an issue in Access AI where translations could fail if the source language was set to ‘German.’
Fixed an issue in Access AI where AI summaries could be formatted improperly when viewed in the Panopto Viewer.

REST API access to "License plan usage" data

Hi

We would like to retrieve the information presented on the license plan usage page via the REST API. It looks like this is not possible at the moment, but are there plans to include this in an upcoming release?
