Do I need to upgrade Remote Recorder to have it remember devices?

The most recent UI/UX changes have a fantastic update, "The Remote Recorder has been updated to remember devices if Windows changes the Deviceid. This prevents admins from having to reconfigure devices on Remote Recorders after Windows updates."

My RRs are on 12.0.3.4. Do I need to update the RR software to get the benefit described above or does that come from the web portal side of the house? If so, what is the latest version of RR?
