Confirmation Procedure

Start the Panopt recorder application,
Select the connected camera image.

As a result, an error occurs.

Error content.
 Failed to start device
 Media pipeline failure : 0x80040217

We have confirmed that the camera built into the laptop and the USB connection camera also do not produce video.

Please support us in resolving this issue.

  • I have encountered this message when providing tech support. Are there other devices connected to your system that could interfere with the signal? try disconnecting each device individually and start Panopto afterwards, you may pinpoint the device that's causing the issue.

  • I am using an NEC notebook PC, but no peripheral devices are connected.

    There are no conflicts.

    The camera works fine in Zoom and on Windows.
