Panopto Core
- Added ‘Responsive embed’ to the embed options section within a video’s share page. Toggling this option ensures videos will scale to fit the available width of the page. The default option is enabled to ensure the best viewing experience.
- Added a new optional video setting called ‘Completion Affirmation.’ When enabled, viewers will see a prompt at the end of the video asking them to confirm they have watched it in its entirety. This allows customers to ensure users watch videos in their entirety for compliance purposes. This feature can also be used with SCORM to send a passing grade after users acknowledge the prompt to confirm they’ve watched the entire video. - Added a new filter to folder and list pages allowing users to search for videos created by a specific person.
- Updated the Date filter in the folder and list pages to give users more granular control to show sessions created on, before, after, or within a specific date range.
- Improved the Content Retention Pending Actions Ui/UX by updating the description, adding icons to the ‘Retain Video’ and ‘Confirm Action’ buttons, and adding an ‘X’ to deselect all selected rows.
- Improved screen reader accessibility within session settings modals to ensure hyperlinks have unique and descriptive labels.
- Improved screen reader accessibility on folder settings modals to give users more descriptive and informative labels when using a keyboard to navigate through forms that require user input.
- Improved screen reader accessibility when uploading videos to provide users an audible notification of the upload/processing status.
- Improved screen reader accessibility within the details tab of the Interactive Viewer to ensure announcements are made when users use the Subscribe button to subscribe to hashtags or specific users.
- Added a disclaimer in the captions tab of the interactive viewer for auto-generated captions to ensure viewers are informed that auto-generated captions may contain errors.
- Fixed an issue with screen readers on folder pages that could result in subscription announcements being made twice when users subscribe or unsubscribe from a folder.
- Fixed an issue within the Interactive Viewer that could cause captions to appear at the top of the video if the user switches primary & secondary orientations and maximizes the primary stream.
- Fixed an issue that could cause copies of imported Webex meetings to intermittently fail to process.
- Fixed an issue with our Microsoft Teams integration that could cause our folder modal to display a white background when dark mode is enabled in Teams.
- Fixed an issue where duplicate playback controls were shown when viewing an embedded video within a very small iframe in a mobile browser.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a "Failed to apply changes" error in the editor when modifying captions in a copied session.
- Fixed an issue with Panopto for Windows where silent audio notifications were appearing in the Windows Event Viewer as "Informational" instead of "Warning."
- Added clearer activity logging for Panopto for Windows to identify scenarios where slideshow processing failures are associated with a slideshow file which is 5 GB or larger.
- Fixed an issue that could cause meeting recordings to fail to import from Webex if they are greater than 2.4 GB in size.
- Fixed an issue where the embed code UI failed to use the default width site setting in some cases.
Mobile
- Fixed an issue with our iOS app that could prevent users from watching videos offline after downloading them within the app.
AccessAI
- Fixed an issue in the editor that could prevent users from being able to save changes after deleting AI Summary key points.
