Priority Archive Restoration

It has recently come to my attention that restorations from the Panopto Archive can take, at times, well in excess of the 48 hour estimate.
48 hours in general is pushing it for some cases, so it would be great if we had a way to prioritize the media restoration on the AWS side to a higher SLA. This would come at a potentially higher cost, so it should be something that Admins have control of/an opportunity to approve/deny requests, but I think it is important to have the option as well as a clear expectation of cost and timeline when invoked.

Hey Michael!
Another great suggestion! You know the drill — I've filed this away, and we'll consider it for the future. I especially appreciate the focus on making such adjustments an Admin-related tool.
That said, I did want to add some context on the restoration process and how it's behaving right now.
We've recently adjusted the maximum restoration time to 72 hours in some cases, which I know only makes your point even more valid, but I wanted to be sure current expectations are clear. We also aim to provide a more precise estimate of the remaining time for content restoration, which will help anticipate when certain videos will be available.
