I think it would be great to add more options for customizing the embed player. Vimeo offers a lot of possibilities—maybe even too many—but at least having the option to remove the gradients at the top and bottom would make a big difference. We aim to use a simple and minimalistic player, so we always disable the title and other overlays. However, the gradients prevent the embedded player from integrating cleanly. As you can see in this example, the white background isn’t actually white because of them.
