Support for ASS (Advanced SubStation Alpha) Caption Format

We would like to request support for ASS (Advanced SubStation Alpha) caption format in addition to the currently supported SRT files.
While SRT provides basic captioning, it does not support advanced styling such as font customization, positioning, colors, speaker differentiation, or animation effects.
Supporting ASS would significantly enhance subtitle quality and improve viewer engagement, especially for educational and branded content.
This feature would also reduce the need for external subtitle conversion and streamline our content production workflow.
Please consider including ASS subtitle support in an upcoming release roadmap.
