Introducing Connect Analytics
Portal managers now have more options for accessing statistics both at a portal level and across all portals. Now, you can access your statistics directly from the Portal Settings menu, providing a seamless transition between management and measurement.
For customers who already have Knowledge Insights, you'll find a new Insights button on the top right of the "Portals" banner.
For customers who already have Knowledge Insights, you'll also find a new Insights option listed alongside the Edit, Settings, and Delete icons for each of your portals.
While inside a portal, click the Settings drop-down menu, then click "Analytics". This will give you portal-specific data. If you'd like to see data for a specific video, open it and then follow the same steps. This time, you'll only have data related to that specific video.
Analytics in all forms are only available to portal Admins.
This update will be automatically applied to Connect (no additional action required).
Introducing Knowledge Insights Data Connector
A new, premium add-on called "Knowledge Insights Data Connector" has been added. This service allows you to seamlessly integrate your BI (business intelligence) tool, such as Tableau, with Panopto's Knowledge Insights dashboards.
Current Knowledge Insights customers can request access to the Data Connector for no additional charge. Reach out to your Account Manager for more information.

VCMS Improvements
We’ve updated the core visual elements of the Panopto interface to provide a crisper, more modern experience. Here are the highlights:
- The main navigation bar and sidebar icons have been redesigned.
- Text colors throughout the application have been improved to increase contrast and readability, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience in various lighting conditions.
- The list and folder views have been streamlined for better consistency in font, alignment, and spacing.
- Introduced standardized, high-clarity design elements for thumbnails, tags, and the rating feature.
- Improved hover interaction areas and updated all layout versions to be more uniform and responsive.
Additionally, we've added the ability to quickly archive videos from the Folder view. Hover over a video's thumbnail and expand the ellipses menu. In there, you'll find a new "Delete" option to instantly archive that video.
These changes will be automatically applied to your site following this release (no additional action required).
Webex Integration Improvements
The Webex integration has been updated to include additional recording metadata in the logs, such as:
- Recording Title
- Meeting Number
- Meeting Topic
- Host Email / User
- Recording Start Date & Time

Product Improvements
Panopto Core
Added a "Username" column within the Accessibility Usage report and the folder statistics.
Fixed an issue where LTI video embeds were defaulting to a start time of 0, even when no specific start was set by the user.
Fixed an issue preventing users from accessing content via LTI 1.3 during an active domain migration.
Fixed an issue causing Canvas to incorrectly identify users when an Integration ID is missing.
Fixed an issue that caused the Remote Recorder to fragment streams and potentially lose data during periods of high server stress or database connectivity issues.
