This update will be applied by Thursday, June 4th.
Bulk accessibility requests, new accessibility provider services, and reporting improvements
Gone are the days of submitting videos one by one for captions, audio descriptions, and/or translations. Now, just select as many videos as you want in a folder, choose the accessibility type, and submit.
Pro tip! Got some videos across multiple folders you want to request in bulk? Move all of the videos to a temporary folder and make the bulk request there. Once the services are complete, move the videos back to their original folders.
Be mindful of how your site treats overwriting captions/audio descriptions. If overwriting is allowed, all caption/audio description files will be permanently deleted and replaced with new ones. If overwriting isn't allowed, then any videos that already have the appropriate file will be excluded from the bulk request.
Admins can verify and change this behavior by locating the "Audio Descriptions - Overwrite Behavior" and "Captions - Overwrite Behavior" settings within the Site Settings.
To learn more about this feature, please see the newly expanded "How to Request Accessibility Services" knowledge article.

The accessibility providers Verbit and 3Play Media now offer more services directly in Panopto.
Verbit now offers 5 new accessibility options, including Captivate services. These expanded services unlock the ability to request audio descriptions through Verbit, as well as access to Verbit Campus Complete for Accommodations and Campus Complete Review Upgrade.
Check out Verbit's Captivate page for more details about the service.
3Play Media is getting an even bigger expansion, adding 7 new accessibility options, including Pulse services. Now you can request audio descriptions directly through 3Play Media with Panopto. You'll also be able to use their Pulse services to get even higher-quality captions and audio descriptions with an accuracy score delivered alongside them.
Check out 3Play Media's Pulse page for more details about the service.
Pro tip! Want to replace an existing Verbit and/or 3Play Media provider in Panopto? Don't forget to disable the previous service, or rename it to avoid any confusion for your users. You can do so on the Accessibility Services page: Locate the existing provider and click the "Disable for all" button to discontinue that option, or click the "Edit" button to change the provider's name.
For more information on setting up these providers and all of the services they offer, please see our Verbit and 3Play Media knowledge articles.

Now you can make more informed decisions when submitting videos for accessibility services. When requesting a service via the video's settings, you'll now see the caption cost per minute, a brief description of the provider, and then an estimated cost for that video.
Finally, the accessibility usage report will now indicate whether a video is a reference copy. It will list "Reference" within the "Caption type" column, allowing you to easily identify videos that cannot be submitted for accessibility requests.
Video summarization rebrand
All instances of "AI Summary" have been renamed to "AI Recast".
Don't worry, nothing about this feature is being changed. This is purely aesthetic.
Knowledge Insights improvements
The Luzmo footer is back across all dashboards, giving you access to the full set of dashboard controls and the ability to export and email any dashboard. You'll also be able to adjust the time zone for your dashboards — no more manual converting!
Bug fixes
We fixed a visual issue in which Remote Recorder preview thumbnails on the recorder management page appeared extra-wide, with large black bars on the left and right sides of the video content.
