Web UI Dark Mode

We have had a request to have dark mode for the web pages when recordings are being watched along with the captions. The reason given is that they watch material (class lectures) for hours at a time and this is not good for their screens as they can get pixel burn.

Options for the layout and contrasting may be helpful to others.

Here is a message we have received

Good Afternoon, I'm not sure if the University or if Panopto themselves
designed the UI for the recap recordings, but I find that the UI is
very often burned into my laptop screen as I'm viewing recordings for
long periods of time, and wondered if you could possibly consider
designing a dark mode UI to put less strain on the pixels of my screen?
I'm not the only student that has issues with this either.
