We are reviewing our Viewer Statistics and would like to better understand student engagement. Is there currently a way to distinguish views by user role (for example, Creator vs. Viewer) within the statistics report?

Our primary interest is student views, but it appears the current reporting includes views from all users with access to the video. If role-based filtering or reporting is not currently available, how are other institutions identifying student-only viewership?

We would appreciate any guidance or best practices from the community.

Update: We learned that views are currently recorded regardless of user role, and the statistics do not indicate whether the user was a Viewer, Creator, Videographer, or Administrator. A feature request has been submitted (FR-2008) to add role-based reporting and filtering options.
