Is it possible to archive specific folders or videos instead of using site-wide Retention Policies?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to select specific folders, subfolders, or content items to be archived in Panopto, rather than relying on a platform-wide Retention Policy? We have specific content we'd like to archive manually without setting a broad automated rule for the whole site.

    You aren't able to bulk archive individual videos right now, however, you are able to archive individual videos under the video settings either under the "three dots" menu or under settings → Manage → Archive

    I believe bulk archive is on the menu for the bulk actions improvements, but maybe someone from the Panopto team can talk to that.

    For alternatives, you should also be able to set retention rules then enable the Content Retention rule that requires an admin to "Approve" an action. (The setting is called Require Confirmation by Admin under the Content Retention settings)
