Add function to delete Panopto folder when Moodle course is deleted

We would like to request a new feature for the Panopto block plugin.

At the moment, when a course is copied/imported in Moodle, the Panopto block plugin triggers the creation of an associated folder in Panopto. We would like to request that when a course is deleted in Moodle, its corresponding folder in Panopto is also deleted.

This would be very helpful for in cleaning up redundant and unused folders. Sometimes courses are created in Moodle that are no longer needed, or a course rollover fails and an incomplete rump course is still created. Our Digital support team adds all these courses to a 'To be deleted' category and bulk deletes them on a regular basis. It would save us a lot of time if course deletion on the Moodle end would result in folder deletion in Panopto.

Most of the time these folders will be empty, but in cases where there are recordings in them we can assume they are safe to be deleted too. If other institutions using Panopto would prefer to keep such folders even after their Moodle course is deleted, maybe this option could be added as an admin setting that can be switched on and off?

We are aware there is a workaround for this, by choosing not to "Automatically provision courses" from the Panopto block settings and asking users to provision them manually. However, this would not really work for us, as we've had multiple requests in the past to automate course provisioning.
