Allow secondary audio source with ability to switch to primary audio

I have a number of classrooms with lecture capture. During the semester, I spend a lot of time monitoring recordings to make sure that the faculty turns their lavalier mic on for optimal recording. I do have the ability to remote into the room and turn on ceiling mics so at least I get some audio and don't lose a recording.

This past summer, we actually put the ceiling mics on our secondary wideshot feed. This helps with knowing that if the mic dies, we at least have audio that can be used. Presently, in order to use their secondary audio on Panopto, I have to add it to the primary video in Premiere and then re-upload the primary tracking camera in the Panopto editor, delete the old video and reprocess it for viewing.

But now that I have the ceiling mics on my secondary feed, it would be great to be able to just select that audio as the primary audio for use. It would save a lot of monitoring time and labor if this was possible.

Anyone else see a good use case for being able to switch to a secondary audio feed? If so, jump in and let Panopto know!
