At our institution, we have a use case where we need to share all videos for all courses students take throughout their 4+ year program of study. We typically organize videos by program year, then course, and even course components; therefore, we have many parent and sub- and sub-sub folders, etc.

We noticed that if a parent folder is set to anyone at the org with the link (unlisted) that the subfolders do not inherit this permission. Because of this, students cannot view the video content in subfolders nor see that there is a subfolder within that parent folder.

Ideally, a new feature would allow us to show sub-folders that inherit permissions from the parent folder when users have access to the parent folder. This could be a new share permission setting that allows an unlisted folder to be viewable if user has access to the parent folder.
