Has anyone else experienced this and do you know why this seems to be occurring please?
It's been an intermittent issue and haven't managed to get to the bottom of it yet.
Thank you 😊

Hey, David!
If your OneDrive/Microsoft account uses facial authentication (Windows Hello), it needs to use your camera. When the Panopto Remote Recorder is actively running in the background, it prevents other devices from using your camera, which may cause the error you're seeing. It's also possible that your organization's configuration requires you to reauthenticate with your computer's preferred sign-in method before accessing certain apps. If you typically sign in with facial recognition, you may see this error in those circumstances, too.
Beyond that advice, we would need to know more specifics about how your computer is set up and Panopto services specific to you - all of which we wouldn't want to share here on a public forum. If you don't think facial recognition is the issue, please submit a ticket with Panopto Support, and our team will get to the bottom of it!
Thanks Brianna.
It wouldn't be facial recognition as this is something we do not use.
I have logged a ticket with Panopto support, but the assistance is a not as forthcoming as hoped.
