This update will be applied after business hours tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th.

The following feature has been improved:

  • Added text to the cookie banner explaining that strictly necessary cookies are always active, and that for EU users, non-essential cookies (analytics/performance) are off by default per GDPR. As such, clicking "Accept" won't activate them. No functionality has changed; this is a messaging-only update.

The following bug has been resolved:

  • Searching Japanese-language folders could return incomplete results compared to the same search in English-language folders.

    This update will be applied after business hours tomorrow, Thursday, October 15th.

    The following features have been improved:

    • The Connect portal settings now show its Portal ID within the Portal Access section.
    • Preview Mode has moved outside the session results pane. The preview pane now stays fixed on the right side of the page while you scroll, and the rest of the page adjusts to the available space.
    • The "Preview mode" text button has been replaced with a compact icon. Hover over it to see a "Preview mode" tooltip. Click it to highlight the icon and open the preview pane on the right. Click it again to close the preview and return the page to its original state.

    • Folio now works within Blackboard Learn and Brightspace. Admins can add Folio as an additional placement under Panopto's Application ID, so instructors can use both Panopto and Folio at course level without removing either. Students who launch Folio are signed in and taken straight to it. Existing Panopto behavior, including course embeds, student submissions, and deep linking, is unchanged.

    The following bug has been resolved:

    • The "My Resources" option for the bulk Remote Recorder scheduler now only lists the recorders, folders, and templates you have access to. This applies to both the Bulk schedule using a CSV file option and the public API.
      • Recorders and folders: The download lists only the recorders you can schedule on and the folders where you can create recordings.
      • Templates: The download lists templates that can be assigned to your recorders.
      • Owners: The owners file, which lists user names and email addresses, is now included only for site administrators and users with full bulk scheduling permission. Other users receive the download without it. They can still create a valid scheduling CSV, because leaving the Owner column blank schedules the session under their own account.
      • Current schedule: For non-admin users, the current schedule data is limited to the recorders they can access.

    This update will be applied after business hours tomorrow, Thursday, October 22nd.

    The following features have been improved:

    • You can now open videos on the Home page with the Space and Enter keys.
    • The "Date Interval" section in the Accessibility Usage report has been removed. This report always includes all videos. As such, the "Date Interval" option would never provide different results.

    The following bugs have been resolved:


    • Adding users to a Portal via API will no longer result in the users receiving a "404 Page not found" error when accessing the portal. Previously, users added via API were not being added to the portal's access list.
    • The Stats (Analytics) page sometimes prevented scrolling. The page now loads properly, allowing users to view all data.

    New: Added a Clear all filters button next to your active filters that resets them all in one click, keeping your sort order and view mode

    The following bugs have been resolved:

     Issues that affected Connect video pages when a phone was held in landscape orientation:

    • Scrolling: Video pages could not be scrolled, which left the player cut off by the browser and portal toolbars and kept the content below it out of reach. Scrolling now works.
    • Player controls on iPhones: Rounded screen corners could cut off player controls, making them hard to tap. The playback controls, layout buttons, secondary video, splash logo and inline star ratings now stay clear of the corners and the notch or Dynamic Island in both landscape orientations.
