Elai - Pronunciation Updates, AI Charts & SSO Settings - October 9th, 2026
Smart Pronunciation Suggestions and a Redesigned Phoneme Dictionary
Getting pronunciation right is now faster and more accurate. Elai now suggests pronunciations in both IPA and respelling, and you can edit either one. To fix a specific word, select it, click the Phoneme button, then edit and preview the pronunciation.
From there, you can add it to your Phoneme Dictionary for global use or apply it to just that one spot. The Phoneme Dictionary has also been redesigned, with entries grouped by word, live search, and a scrolling list. Add phoneme automatically detects the language and supports pronunciations set per language or per voice, and changes save individually.

Meet AI Charts: turn your slide content into animated charts
Describe your data in a prompt, use your slide's speech text, or do both, and Elai builds the chart for you. It animates during playback and shows up in your rendered video.
How to create: Open the new Charts tab, then write a prompt, start from an example, or leave "Use speech text" on to chart the numbers from your narration. Choose your colors and click Generate. If two chart types fit your data, you can pick the one you prefer. Bar, line, area, pie, and donut charts are all supported, and a title and subtitle are added for you to edit.
How to customize: Click any chart on your slide to change the colors, text, and background (or make the background transparent), adjust the animation speed, and add entrance and exit animations. Want a different look? Just tell Elai what to change, like "make it a line chart" or "format as euros." Not happy with the result? Undo it. If Elai adjusts your data, such as rescaling pie percentages to total 100, it lets you know. And if your data can't be charted reliably, for example because of mixed units or two currencies, Elai explains why instead of showing a misleading chart.

Single Sign-On Settings Now in Organization Management
SSO has a new home, and you now have more control over how your team signs in. Organization admins on the Enterprise plan can manage SSO for the whole organization in Organization management → SSO, and the Single Sign-on item has been removed from the user menu.
You can now connect more than one OpenID Connect identity provider to your organization, and each connection has its own menu where you can copy its sign-in link.
You can also decide what new users see on their first sign-in: a shared workspace, or a personal workspace with either 0 minutes or no minute limit. With Require invitation turned on, only invited people can sign in, and they join the workspaces they were invited to. This setting is on by default, and the SSO table shows "From invitation" for these connections.
Editing is simpler too: leave the Client secret empty to keep your current one, or paste in a new one, and saving updates only what you changed. If you turn a connection off, no one can sign in through it.
For Panopto organizations, admins can now choose which workspace new Panopto users join.
