Confirmation Before Stopping a Recording
It would be useful if Panopto displayed a confirmation message before stopping a recording.
It's quite easy to accidentally click the Stop button when intending to pause or interact with the recording controls. Once stopped, users may have to start a new recording to continue their presentation.
A simple confirmation prompt, such as "Are you sure you want to stop recording?", with options to continue or cancel, would help prevent accidental interruptions and unnecessary re-recording. This would be particularly useful for students recording assessed presentations, where accidentally stopping a recording partway through can be frustrating and disruptive.
