Panopto Bug Alert: Canvas Sign-in Issue

We wanted to let you know about a recent change made by Instructure to no longer support Internet Explorer. 


What is the impact of this change?

Any customers attempting to sign in to Canvas with the Panopto for Windows recorder client will receive the following error message:




How do I work around this issue?

Open the Panopto for Windows client from your Canvas site by clicking the Create button. 



When will this issue be resolved?

We are working with Instructure to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will continue to update this forum post as information becomes available.
