Why is there no "sharing" icon available for my newly uploaded videos

From watching the instructional videos about sharing options it seems i am missing the share option when i hover over the video. instead only settings, edit and delete appear. When I go into settings and click on "share" underneath "overview" a blank screen appears.

I'm wanting to change my sharing options to just anyone with the link

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi Hanna,

    It sounds like your local Panopto administrator may have the option to share videos turned off for your organization. I'll contact them about this issue. As they may reach out to you directly, please keep an eye out for correspondence regarding this matter.

  • I have experienced the same issue when using Chrome. Safari and Firefox both display the Share button

  • Two professors that I provide support for are having this issue on Chrome for Windows. I am unable to replicate.

    Was any solution found, other than "use another browser"?
