Why does embedding a video into a Blackboard item sometimes result in a black box?

When we embed a Panopto video into a Blackboard item, sometimes it displays as a black box, but the audio is fine. This only happens when the video in questions is an uploaded video or if it was created using Panopto.it. If it was created with a Panopto Recorder or with Panopto Capture, accessed through Blackboard, the embedded video displays correctly. Our school is uisng Blackboard Learn 9.1 and Panopto 9.2.2.00001. I dont know what building block version we are using. But we do not have Embed Panopto Video as an option under Build Content/Mashups/ like the screenshot here; https://support.panopto.com/s/article/Embed-Content-into-the-build-in-Blackboard. When embedding videos we use the Mashup button on the Bb item toolbar or paste the embed code in the HTML window. Any clues appreciated!

Hi Linda,
I spoke with a colleague of mine about this issue, and they recommended the following steps:
From Panopto, open the video's Settings menu by clicking the cog wheel (either by hovering over it in the folder or by selecting it in the video player):
In the Settings menu, select the Outputs tab and then click View Podcast to see if it appears the same as it does in Bb. If it does, then I'd suggest changing the podcast Type and selecting Apply to see if that works and gets it to appear correctly in Bb.
