Additional comment here that we are interested in adding this to the Embed API (javascript) so that Audio Descriptions can be turned on by default. This is already something that is in the Embed API for Captions and we would expect the same for ADs

We have support for extended audio descriptions coming in the next release on Jan 8th. And it is on our roadmap to add the ability to turn AD on/off and select language via the Embed API.
