Get status from recorder and display it

Is it possible to get recorder status and display it on a creston panel in an auditorium. The recorders status just neecds to be displayed as either active og inactive.

    We do not have an API that supports the ability to report remote recorder live status at this time.

    @Joe Malmsten but isn't there a Crestron module or integration which offers this? I think I saw something like this presented by the AV group from UNLV at the Panopto conference in 2019.
