Empty responses when trying to search for folders and Sessions

I have the "Viewer" role and have created an API client of type "Server Application". I'm able to successfully generate an access token using the API, /Panopto/oauth2/connect/token.

However, when I use this access token to search for folders and sessions via search query using the API, example /Panopto/api/v1/folders/search?searchQuery=Product Training . The API returns an empty response. Despite this, I can search and view videos without any issues through the web application.

Could you help me understand why the API is not returning the expected data?

    Hi Venkat,

    The API works a bit different and we don't return the results for the viewer, but if you have user with a bit more permissions like Creator we will return the results.
