PSSJ is building a tool to register users, create and assign user groups, create folders, and set permissions.
In the interest of processing time, they are considering dividing full list into smaller batches, and making the requests in parallel.
So their questions is whether there are restrictions on the Panopto side when making requests in parallel.
For example, is there a limit to the number of clients that can be making requests concurrently?

Panopto throttles API requests for excessive access, and parallel accesses are monitored and counted together for that throttling. As a general guideline, parallel requests is not an option to workaround API throttling. Also, Panopto may apply temporary throttling if any requests are identified as a risk for stable operation of Cloud system, even such requests were not throttled before.
I recommend to open a ticket to consult further about the planned usage. Panopto team will evaluate the plan and tell you whether it's feasible or requires adjustment.
