Please note: This update will be applied at the end of business hours on Mar 7th for the North America, Canada, and European clouds and the end of business hours on Mar 8th for the Asia-Pacific and Australia clouds.
- A new site-wide setting has been added called ‘Security - Use LTI postMessage Storage For LTI Link Authentication.’ When this setting is enabled, it utilizes postMessage Storage and tokens for authentication instead of cookies, removing the dependency for 3rd party cookies within Blackboard, Canvas, and Brightspace when using an LTI link to view embedded folders and videos, or selecting a video to embed using the embedded video chooser. Safari does not yet support all workflows for embedded folders.
- Added support for Catalan language features, including automatic captions powered by Automatic Speech Recognition, search, caption translation, Optical Character Recognition, Smart Chapters and Custom Dictionary. To enable Catalan support for new content, select Catalan as the Content Language in folder settings, or to set Catalan as the default language site-wide, please contact Support. Our support article for using multiple languages for captions can be reviewed here.
- Updated the Content Retention Pending Actions UI to add Archived Date, Folder, and Owner columns and enabled sorting on all columns.
- Updated the Content Retention Pending Actions downloadable report to include Username, Email, and Retention Action Scheduled Date.
- Updated downloadable podcasts to support multiple language caption tracks.
- Fixed an issue where video podcasts could not be downloaded from the viewer for some reference copies.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Group Memberships and Access pages to fail to be displayed when embedded in a third-party context if a Panopto site had enabled a strict Content Security Policy.
- Fixed a potential cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Zoom Integration configuration page.
- Fixed a potential cross-site scripting vulnerability in the WebEx Integration configuration page.
- Fixed an issue with bulk user syncing for a D2L Identity Provider that could cause issues syncing permissions for older D2L users, who used a different user identification scheme in D2L.
- Fixed an issue where the scrollbar was displayed without correct styling on video list pages.
- Fixed an accessibility issue where the number of results returned by a search query in the embedded viewer was not being announced via screen reader.
- Fixed an accessibility issue where the volume slider in the viewer had insufficient ARIA labels, causing screen readers not to identify the volume slider as such.
- Fixed an accessibility issue where quiz rows in the embedded viewer table of contents were not keyboard accessible.
