It would be great to have support for relay hardware built into Panopto independent of the actual remote recorder. A use case here would be using a Barix 50/100 to trigger a tally light or rs232 command when a remote recorder session starts/stops. Having this independent of the actual remote recorder would then also give the ability for a pre-warning of broadcast, triggers for audio cues, lighting presets, etc, through the use of a relay or RS232 device (or even an IP command send).
This type of new service could then be selected when scheduling the remote recorder, similar to how a secondary recorder is selected.
This would be a game changer (at least for us).
