I tried to put this in the bug report but couldn't.
Some facutly and I have noticed lately it is extremely easy to turn on. It seems like you can be well enough off to the right of the audio normalization checkbox and and accidentally click, and it turns on if you're not careful. It's already caused some headaches for people.
Can someone from Panopto take a look? Has anyone else experienced this?

I believe this is a known thing. It happens because the div extends to fill the whitespace, so you can click anywhere in the whitespace and it will toggle the state.
It would be great if this was fixed, but it's been like this for a long time.
