help - can open my word document on the recording page

i am trying to record a video lesson using my word document lesson notes as my main screen. I open the word document on my screen then go into the recording page, But when i try to open the main screen on the recorder page it just shows the recorder page!! Help

Hi Doug,
The recorder is just showing you a preview of the screen capture. Once the recording begins, you are safe to navigate away from Panopto to your Word document. Panopto will capture everything that is on your screen.
