How to show, how long the final video will be?

Is it possible to have Panopto show how much time the final video will be?
Because I'm only able to have it show how long I've been recording.
Whereas I would like the timer to pause when I pause the recording.

If I am understanding the question correctly, in that, you would like to see both the total recording time as well as the "active" recording time be shown in the desktop client. If that is the case, that isn't something that is currently available and would need to be shifted to a feature request.

It is only the "active" recording I'm interested in.
