For years I've been using C:\Program FIles\Panopto\Recorder\Recorder.exe.config to enable local MP4 captures by setting "MP4Localview" to "True". Recently, I noticed that the recorders are not capturing the MP4s locally despite the setting being set to "True". I am having to check the checkbox using the GUI, which isn't checked, to get it to capture the MP4s locally. Has something changed? The recorders are using version 12.
