Is there a way to have selective availability on a session?

I have Panopto linked to blackboard. students in the course are added to a viewers group which has access to the session.

If i set an availability time window for the session. eg the recordings is viewable only for the week after the lecture and then closes off. But I want 2 students to retain the ability to view the session.

If i add them as specific viewers outside of the group they still lose access once the session availability window kicks in as it still sees them as viewers and closes availability for all viewers. I can't think of anyway to allow them to see it outside of the availability window except for copying/moving the video to a sub-folder and giving the two students only the access to the sub-folder. This is extra work and potentially creates duplicated content.

Any other ideas?

    Hi Beth,

You could always make a copy of the video, place it in a different folder, and share that version/folder with the students that need it. Here's our article on how to do this: How to Copy and Move Sessions.

I hope this is helpful - if you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask. I'm always happy to help!

    Best wishes,
