We are happy to announce a community contest ๐
From now until July 12th [Contest Extended! Until July 23] post the most unique way(s) you (or your organization) uses Panopto. Do you think you use Panopto in a way that no one else does? Can you surprise Panopto employees with something theyโve never thought of when it comes to content creation in Panopto?

We keep the Remote Recorder page up during the day on a large monitor in our control room. The video inputs for the remote recorders, when the room is not in-use, show a wide camera shot into our larger classrooms. We can see when an instructor has arrived and visit in-person to assist them as needed.
One thing we use Panopto for is serving pre-recorded videos. We can store them and use them for whatever class is needed. We also have a folder for content that is available outside of the university, so we can give links to libraries or web sites of our boot camps and symposia.
Since changing the background is in its infancy stages, and until recently didn't exist at all, we run our cameras and audio into vMix on another laptop and insert a background in that program, then output to Panopto via HDMI.
